Our Story

At 2EZ, we believe fitness has the power to change lives.

Not just by making people stronger, faster, or fitter—but by helping them live life with more confidence, more energy, and more purpose.

Fitness has always been our passion. It inspired us to create a place where people of all ages and fitness levels could receive the right guidance, train with confidence, and achieve goals they never thought possible.

​

As we grew, we discovered something even more meaningful through functional fitness and fitness racing. We saw ordinary people accomplish extraordinary things.

 

Someone who had never enjoyed running completed their first HYROX.

A beginner performed their first pull-up.

A parent found the energy to keep up with their children.

A 53-year-old crossed the HYROX finish line with her daughter.

These moments reminded us that fitness isn't about becoming the strongest person in the room. It's about becoming a better version of yourself, one day at a time. That belief became the foundation of 2EZ.

​

When we started, we also believed there was room for something different in Malaysia. Many gyms focused on machines and training individual muscles. While there's nothing wrong with that, we wanted to build a place that focused on how the body moves, performs, and functions in everyday life. A place where strength, endurance, movement, and resilience are developed together. A place where training prepares you not only for sport, but for life.

That's why every program at 2EZ follows our structured training system.

Building a strong foundation through movement quality, control breathing, recovery, and consistency.

Apply everything you've built through performance-focused training, race preparation, mentality and sustainability on race fatigued intensive workouts, building confidence and ready to race.

Darren leads the development of our training methodology and programming. His passion is helping members train with purpose through structured progression, combining strength, endurance, and race-specific preparation.

Whether you're aiming to complete your first HYROX or improve your performance, Darren focuses on building long-term fitness, smarter training habits, and sustainable progress—not shortcuts.

HYBRID TRAINING COACH | REDLINE | CRUCIBLE

Kahming specialises in hybrid training, helping members develop the balance of strength, endurance, and work capacity needed for everyday fitness and race performance.

His coaching focuses on improving movement quality, building aerobic capacity, and helping members become stronger, fitter, and more resilient through consistent, structured training.

HYROX COACH

Vicky is passionate about helping members build confidence through movement. She believes that every athlete starts somewhere and creates a supportive environment where beginners and experienced athletes alike can develop their fitness safely and progressively.

​

Her coaching combines technical guidance, motivation, and attention to detail, ensuring every session helps members move one step closer to their goals.

Zakhwan brings energy, encouragement, and positivity to every class. He enjoys helping members challenge themselves while making training enjoyable and rewarding.
